First time I saw this Owl I couldn't be more amazed at how well it was hiding and how beautiful it was. I have watched these birds for a few years and have seen 2 Owlets from the pair. What a site to see them in the wild.I respect them and there hiding spots,But love to photograph them. I haven't seen the red phase for about a year,but the grey one is still hanging around. And I'm happy that it's there.
Alot of peope do not realize how much wildlife is in Rhode Island. Every time I see walkers they always ask me "are you a profesional? Do you work for a news paper?"
My responce is always "no it's a hobby and theres a bird"..lol
